P50-M of contraband onions, cosmetics and frozen seafood seized at Bulacan

An estimated 50 million pesos worth of cosmetics, frozen seafood and red onions was seized during a raid on a warehouse in Meycauayan, Bulacan, the Customs Office (BOC) revealed on Monday 11. October.

The transaction stems from a report of contraband products stored in a warehouse owned by Elite Globus Primeholdings Corp. located at Bahay Pare Road, Sitio 4, Brgy. Bahay Paré in Meycauayan.

Accompanied by officers from the Manila International Container Port-Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (MICP-CIIS) and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), BOC personnel raided the area on Thursday, October 7 using the letter d authorization (LOA) signed. by BOC curator Rey Leonardo Guerrero.
