How to Camouflage Freckles
This month, our question comes from Mary in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania. She asks “how to blend or camouflage freckles on fair complexions.”
Camouflaging freckles or splotches requires your foundation to be mixed one shade lighter than the freckle and one shade darker than your skin tone. Also, remember to wear Translucent Powder because since your goal is to camouflage, you are required to apply your foundation thicker. The powder helps to keep the make-up exactly where you put it.
Here are the steps to camouflage freckles:
- Apply your Custom-blended Foundation with a Make-up Sponge. The sponge allows you to precisely control how much foundation you use and ensure even coverage.
- Use the Complexion Brush to blend your hairline and jaw line. The brush blends the make-up instead of removing it.
- Apply the Beige Eye-lite. The Beige Eye-lite is a highlighter; use it to bring out your eyes and cheekbones.
- Proceed as normally and apply the rest of your make-up.
